In 2024, over 870,000 individuals aged 16 and older reported being victims of one or more forms of psychological violence at home in the past twelve months. This accounts for 6% of all individuals aged 16 and older, similar to figures from 2020 and 2022. These numbers come from the CBSs Prevalence Monitor Domestic Violence and Sexual Harassment.

Psychological violence is a form of domestic violence, characterized by verbal aggression, threats, or intimidation by a family member, partner, or ex-partner. It includes bullying, belittling, and threatening.
