Suspects Released in Kolenwagenslag Case

Three suspects who were arrested after the death of a woman at Kolenwagenslag in The Hague are no longer in pre-trial detention. Two have been released, one remains in custody because he used the deceased womans bank card.

The victim was found dead last Saturday in a home at Kolenwagenslag in The Hague. A 43-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman from The Hague were arrested. On Thursday, a 55-year-old man from The Hague was also apprehended.

Investigations have so far provided insufficient strong evidence of their involvement in the death. The 40-year-old woman and the 55-year-old man have been released. The 43-year-old man was presented to the examining magistrate on Friday and remains in custody, as he withdrew money with the womans bank card after her death.

The investigation into the womans death continues. It cannot yet be ruled out that she died as a result of a crime.
