The council chamber of the Noord-Nederland court has today decided to extend the pre-trial detention of a 26-year-old man from Heerhugowaard by ninety days. He is suspected of involvement in the art heist at the Drents Museum.
All four suspects remain under restrictions, despite several objections against these restrictions. These objections have been rejected by the council chamber of the court. This means that the suspects may only have contact with their lawyer.
The first public hearing in this case is scheduled for May 9, 2025, at the court in Assen.
