The growth in the value of agricultural exports is mainly due to rising prices in 2024. The total income from agricultural exports is estimated at €47.4 billion, with over €42.3 billion from Dutch products and €5.2 billion from re-exports.
Germany remains the largest market, taking 25% of the agricultural exports, followed by Belgium and France. The export to Germany increased by 8.5% in value.
However, exports to China decreased by 12% due to reduced demand for Dutch baby milk powder and pork.
