On Saturday 28 March, residents of Barendrecht can collect free compost and wood chips. With these initiatives, the municipality thanks residents for their efforts in waste separation and gives residual materials a second life in the garden.
Free compost
During the National Compost Day, residents can collect free compost at the waste collection point on Londen 15. Your waste pass will grant you access to the waste collection point. A maximum of two bags of compost may be taken per household. The waste collection point is open from 7:30 to 16:00. While supplies last.
Wood chip day
On the same day, the municipality will also distribute free wood chips. Residents can collect them between 09:00 and 12:00 at J. van Huizen Groenvoorzieningen BV on Voordijk 319a.
