Have you seen hænk in Beuningen yet?
From March 17 to May 7, the town hall in Beuningen will feature artwork by our colleague Han Kuiper. As an artist, he works under the name hænk.
In his sculptures, hænk creates new worlds using existing photographs. He sources these images from platforms like Unsplash and Pexels, where photographers make their work freely available. From these images, he crafts his own visual narratives.
During the exhibition, visitors can view works from two series: "Tweelingen" (2021–2022) and "Landscape" (2025). The Landscape series was also published as a book last summer.
His work has previously been displayed at the Atelierroute Utrecht (2023 and 2025) and at the Broken Reality Festival in Toronto, Canada (2020).
Curious? Come take a look at the town hall! More information about his work can be found on his website.
