Permit for Ankie’s Hoeve available for inspection
The Beverwijk municipality granted an environmental permit on 3 March 2026 for the new construction at Ankie’s Hoeve. An appeal against this permit can be lodged within six weeks, from 13 March to 23 April 2026.
The application concerns the construction of 210 apartments, 1,100 square metres of commercial and community facilities, a semi-subterranean car park with 158 parking spaces and 26 parking spaces at ground level, and the development of public and outdoor spaces on cadastral parcels 12092 and 12093 (section A) of the Beverwijk municipality.
Appeal period: 13 March to 23 April 2026
From Wednesday 12 March 2026, the decision along with the accompanying documents will be available for inspection for six weeks. As Section 3.4 of the General Administrative Law Act applies, the appeal period begins on the day after the decision is made available for inspection. The appeal period therefore starts on 13 March and runs until 23 April 2026.
Within this six-week period, interested parties may lodge an appeal with the Noord-Holland District Court, Haarlem location. In your notice of appeal, you must state your name and address, the date and description of the decision with which you disagree, and why you disagree with the decision. You must send a copy of this decision with the notice of appeal. You must sign the letter and send it to the Haarlem District Court, Administrative Law Sector, PO Box 1621, 2003 BR Haarlem. A court fee will be charged for the handling of an appeal.
It is possible to submit a request for an interim injunction (request for suspension) to the court at the same time as lodging an appeal. The decision will enter into force the day after the appeal period expires. If a request for an interim injunction is submitted within the appeal period, the decision will not enter into force until a decision has been made on that request.
Recovery and Resolution Act
This environmental permit enables the construction of more than eleven homes. As a result, the Recovery and Resolution Act (RRA) applies. This has implications for the appeal phase. The application of the RRA means that, in the event of an appeal, all grounds for appeal must be included in the notice of appeal and cannot be supplemented after the appeal period has expired. The appeal will be declared inadmissible if no grounds are submitted within the appeal period. In addition, the handling of the appeal will be expedited.
The determination decision and explanation can be consulted via the national website www.ruimtelijkeplannen.nl (tab: Land Use Plans). The decision number is NL.IMRO.0375.OVAnkiesHoeve-VG01.
On weekdays, the environmental permit and accompanying documents can be viewed at the information desk of the Beverwijk town hall, Stationsplein 48 in Beverwijk. We request that you make an appointment for this by calling (0251) 256 256. You can also view the environmental permit and accompanying documents digitally via www.officielebekendmakingen.nl.
