Compost Giveaway
On Saturday, March 28, between 09:00 and 12:30, the municipality will provide free GFT compost.
You can collect the compost at the following locations:
- the Milieustraat at Portugalweg in Bodegraven
- the truck parking area at Pasteurstraat in Reeuwijk-Brug
- at Van Vliet company at Groendijck in Waarder
Maximum of three bags per household
Collected GFT waste is processed into compost. By using compost in your garden, you improve soil quality and promote plant growth. In our municipality, we carefully separate waste. As a token of appreciation for your efforts, you can collect a maximum of three bags of GFT compost free of charge per household.
Each bag contains 30 litres of compost and weighs approximately 18 kilograms. If you need more than three bags, you will pay €0.50 for each additional bag, with a maximum of ten bags per household. We kindly request that you pay on-site in cash or by card.

The giveaway is intended for residents of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk. To ensure as many people as possible can benefit from this initiative, compost may only be collected for personal use. The compost will be distributed as long as supplies last. Please note: while stocks last.
