Milou Writes! The latest blog from our child mayor
Hello everyone, here I am again :-)
I’ve done some really fun things again. In this “Milou Writes!” I’ll share these moments with you again :-)
I got to hand out the gift voucher to the person who came up with the best name for the new "After's Cool". It was so much fun—the new name was well thought out: “CHILL & SKILL”. Wow! Together with alderman Jan Uitslag, we presented the voucher to Dorus Dieker, the winner. Congratulations, and great job thinking it up!
I also recorded a video with alderman André Schuurman for “National Clean-Up Day”. It was incredibly fun, and the weather was beautiful. This clean-up day takes place on March 21. I’ll be there to help as well. I think it’s really important that nature stays clean and tidy so everyone can enjoy being outdoors. Check out the video and sign up to help too? Together, we’re strong!
Last week, I recorded a video for the elections with a question. The question was about the youth/council: what do you think about it if the municipality of Dalfsen had something like that? I think it’s a great question and a great idea—I’d sign up right away!
Last Tuesday, Mayor Michael, municipal employee Germa, and I had a little chat at my home. I was supposed to bake a cake, but my mom ended up making it, haha. Because Mayor Michael had a birthday! So that means cake! It was delicious—a strawberry quark tart. We chatted about the future plans we still have and the things I’ve done. It was really nice. Scoob, our dog, loved having Mayor Michael there too :-) haha.
We’ve got lots of fun things planned. You’ll read about them in my next “Milou Writes!”. Maybe I’ll see you on March 18 during the elections :-) And don’t forget to vote, okay…
Best wishes, Milou
Until the next post!
