Plan for 19 apartments at Bozenhoven in Mijdrecht takes another step forward
Plans for the construction of 19 free-market purchase apartments at Bozenhoven 36-40 in Mijdrecht have taken another step closer to realization. Alderman Cees van Uden has signed a so-called anterior agreement with the developer on behalf of the municipal executive board (B&W).
The current location houses a gas station and an automotive business with a residential unit. This is an excellent site for residential development close to the center of Mijdrecht. In November 2024, the municipality established a Spatial Framework here. This document outlines the possibilities for redevelopment and specifies that a maximum of 19 apartments can be built.
According to Alderman Cees van Uden (Spatial Planning), signing the agreement is an important milestone: “Before redevelopment can take place, we must go through a careful process and make good agreements with the developer. By signing this, we are one step closer to realization.”
Following the signing of the anterior agreement, the developer will initiate the permit application process (BOPA). The apartments are expected to go on sale by the end of 2026, with completion anticipated by late 2027 or early 2028.
