Vegetable garden season begins
For weeks, volunteers from Kindertuinen Delft have been busy preparing the small gardens. The new vegetable garden season starts at the end of March. Children will be involved through their primary schools. But during their free time as well, children aged 7 to 12 can do gardening.
Growing your own food
How nice is that. Once a week after school, spend an hour and a half gardening together with other children. Grow your own food. Go home with potatoes, vegetables, and flowers. At Kindertuinen Delft, children can fully discover gardening.
Registration
Parents and caregivers of children from group 4 to 7 can register their children for the vegetable garden at Boterbloem in Tanthof at Abtswoude 9 or Zonnebloem at Tanthofdreef 2.
Family garden
It is also possible to take a small garden as a family. There are still a few family gardens available at Boterbloem and Sleutelbloem. More information and registration via Kindertuinen Delft.
