Have your say on heating without natural gas, what do you think?
What do you think of the plans for heating without natural gas in The Hague? Come to a meeting in your district in March or April 2026. And share your opinion. Do you think it’s a good idea? Or are you worried?
Just like the rest of the Netherlands, The Hague is phasing out natural gas. By 2050, the city will use only clean energy for heating, hot water, and cooking. The municipality is making plans for this and would like to discuss them with residents.
During the district meetings ‘Haagse warmte’ (The Hague heat), the municipality will briefly explain the plans. You can share your wishes, concerns, and ideas. You can also ask questions about other heating methods and subsidies. And find out what an energy coach can do for you.
