Preliminary results of the 2026 municipal council election
Here you will find the preliminary results of the 2026 municipal council election in Deurne.
Centralised counting in our municipality
This means that on Wednesday evening, 18 March 2026, an initial count was carried out at the polling station. At this stage, we only counted the number of votes each party received. On Thursday, 19 March 2026, all votes for the candidates were counted during the meeting of the municipal electoral committee (GSB). The outcome for the entire municipality was then calculated.
Reporting errors to the central electoral committee
If you suspect that a counting error has occurred at a polling station or municipal electoral committee during the counting of votes, you can report this to the central electoral committee. This concerns reports of possible errors in the minutes of the polling stations and municipal electoral committees or the digital file of the municipal electoral committee. Below, you can read when you can submit a report and what conditions the report must meet.
You can submit a report to the central electoral committee until Tuesday, 24 March, 10:00 AM (48 hours before the GSB meeting). Reports submitted later will not be considered.
Conditions for submitting a report
Reports must be submitted in writing to the central electoral committee. Reports cannot be made by telephone or via social media. A report about possible counting errors must meet a number of conditions to be considered by the central electoral committee. The following conditions apply:
- Reports must be in the possession of the central electoral committee by 24 March, 10:00 AM.
- Reports must concern possible errors in the counting of votes in the minutes or the digital file with the municipality's results. These are errors that the municipal electoral committee can correct. Other issues, such as a polling station opening late or not having enough ballot papers, can be addressed during the meeting of the relevant (municipal) electoral committee.
- A report must be substantiated and specific. Simply stating that an error has occurred is not sufficient. The reporter must indicate exactly what the error is, which polling station it concerns, and what the error entails.
- The report must be based on your own observations, not hearsay. For example: “I voted for candidate X and cannot find my vote.” Not: “I heard that polling station X did not count correctly.” Or: “My neighbour says they voted for candidate X and that vote cannot be found.”
- Reports must be submitted in writing to the central electoral committee. This can be done using the form below. Reports cannot be made by telephone or via social media.
- Due to the secrecy of the vote, you do not need to provide your personal details in the report.
- The CSB will report on the processing and handling of the reports received in the appendix to the minutes. This minutes will be published on the municipal website immediately after the meeting.
