(Provisional) award of contract for fuel passes
Over the past year, we have conducted a tender for fuel passes. The municipal executive has decided to provisionally award the tender for fuel passes to WEX Europe Services. Once the objection period has expired, the contract will be awarded definitively. The maximum amount of the contract falls within the existing budgets. There is no obligation to purchase a fixed number of fuel passes or litres.
M&O Policy of Geertruidenberg Municipality 2025
The municipal executive has decided to adopt the M&O Policy 2025 (abuse and improper use) of Geertruidenberg Municipality. The M&O Policy 2025 is a comprehensive policy document that, in addition to the philosophy, general principles and risk analysis, also includes measures to prevent and address abuse and improper use. With this policy document, the municipal executive is implementing Article 13.2 of the Financial By-law.
Power of attorney for provisional and definitive award of the contract for the resurfacing of Beelaertsweg
The municipal executive grants the budget holder the power of attorney to award the contract for the resurfacing of Beelaertsweg. The budget holder may grant both the provisional and definitive award. The budget holder may also arrange the further handling of the contract.
Start of assignment for neighbourhood-focused work
Summary (public version): The municipality is working on coherent policy for neighbourhood-focused work. This initial assignment will investigate how social and physical challenges in neighbourhoods can be better connected. In addition, a structure will be developed to incorporate social challenges into the neighbourhood.
Decision to amend the detailed rules for pupil transport 2026
The detailed rules accompanying the Pupil Transport By-law of Geertruidenberg Municipality 2026 are being amended as follows:
- - The maximum cycling distance for children up to and including 11 years of age is being changed from 10 to 6 kilometres (Article 3).
- - The maximum travel time in cases of severe disadvantage to the family is being adjusted for pupils in special primary education, special education and secondary (special) education from 2 to 3 hours per day (Article 6).
Regional Plan for Low Literacy
We aim to ensure that adult residents in the West-Brabant region have sufficient basic skills to fend for themselves and participate in society. In collaboration with municipalities, current providers, the Language Panel, volunteers and students, the regional plan ‘Improving Basic Skills for the West-Brabant Region’ for 2026-2029 has therefore been drawn up. This plan sets out agreements for the procurement and provision of adult education.
Increase in subsidy ceiling for the Geertruidenberg Municipality Events Subsidy Scheme 2025
Geertruidenberg Municipality is increasing the subsidy ceiling in the Geertruidenberg Municipality Events Subsidy Scheme 2025. This is necessary because organisations have applied for more subsidies for 2026 than the available funds. With this increase, there will be sufficient funds to process all applications that fall within the scheme.
