More than 558 adults and 163 children from 34 neighborhood associations took part in Clean-Up Day in our municipality on Saturday, March 21.
And what a lot of work they put in! Together, they set to work removing litter. This included clearing fallen leaves, weeding, and cleaning benches, playground equipment, sidewalks, and street name signs.
Two schools also participated, with 422 students lending a hand.
Of course, all participants received a treat as a thank-you for their efforts.
