Mosstraat in Rijen closed from 23 March for sewerage work
From Monday 23 March, Van der Zanden Moergestel, on behalf of the municipality, will begin work in Mosstraat. These works are part of the preparation for the new-build project Tussen de Leijen.
What we will do
In Mosstraat, we will connect the new sewer for the construction project to the existing sewer system. We will also adapt the road for the new homes along Mosstraat. In addition, we will work on the culvert of the watercourse to improve drainage of rainwater and surface water.
Planning
The work will take place between the intersection Schorsstraat–Mosstraat and Mosstraat 8. We expect the work to be completed by the end of April, subject to weather conditions and any unforeseen circumstances.
Traffic and accessibility
During the work, Mosstraat will be closed to through traffic. Residents will still have access to their homes.
- Cyclists and pedestrians can bypass the work site via Wolfsweide Park, Korte Rekken and Schorsstraat.
- Cars will follow a diversion route via Hannie Schaftlaan. This route is signposted with yellow signs.
Contact
We understand that the work may cause inconvenience and will do our best to minimise this. If you have any questions, please contact Henk Groeneveld (municipal supervisor) on 14 0161.
