Roadworks and road closure Roodweg in Epen
On behalf of the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, contractor Den Ouden Groep is carrying out work in Epen. The project focuses on reducing waterlogging, improving traffic conditions and carrying out major road maintenance. The work area includes Kapelaan Houbenstraat, a section of the Roodweg and a section of Wilhelminastraat. Work in Kapelaan Houbenstraat is proceeding according to plan and is expected to be completed within a few weeks.
Start of work on Roodweg – Wilhelminastraat
Work on the Roodweg – Wilhelminastraat will begin on Tuesday, April 7. To carry out the work safely, this section of the road will be closed for approximately 9 weeks. Through traffic in Epen will therefore experience temporary inconvenience. The diversion route will be indicated on site with signs.
