Do you want to use items longer and throw away less? Learn how to do this during the Circular Economy Week.
Thursday, March 19, 2026, marks the start of the Circular Economy Week. The largest national event for everyone interested in sustainability. Haarlem is also participating.
Workshops, lectures, and clothing swap
During this week, you can get inspired. Attend one of the free workshops, such as making something beautiful from a broken device or repairing ceramics with gold glue. Or come to a market with local sustainable products, the clothing swap fair, or the Initiatives café.
Haarlem aims to be a circular city by 2040. That means less waste and more reuse.
