On Saturday, 28 March, you can collect free compost at the municipal yard. With this initiative, we thank you for separating your waste. The vegetable, fruit, garden and green waste we collected has been processed into compost. Compost improves soil quality and promotes crop growth in an environmentally friendly way.
How it works
You can collect free compost on Saturday, 28 March between 9:00 and 12:00 at the municipal yard (Lingewal 6A in Bemmel). Please bring your ID. You can receive a maximum of two bags of compost per car or bicycle. Prefer loose compost? Then you can receive a maximum of half a cubic metre. Please bring your own shovel and sturdy bags for this. While stocks last!
