Preliminary results of the 2026 municipal council elections
Just after midnight, Mayor Michiel Pijl announced the preliminary results of the municipal council elections held on March 18 in the municipality of Medemblik. Hart voor Medemblik emerged as the largest party with 8 seats, followed by VVD with 5 seats, and CDA and GemeenteBelangen with 4 seats each.
The municipality of Medemblik has a total of 30 polling stations and 37,096 eligible voters. 55.21 percent of eligible voters in the municipality cast their ballots.
Below are the preliminary results. In 2022, GroenLinks was still part of MORGEN! ChristenUnie did not participate in the 2026 elections.
