Concept neighbourhood vision ’t Zand-Stromenwijk-Rittenburg up for public consultation
Over the past few months, we have spoken to many residents and professionals from ’t Zand-Stromenwijk-Rittenburg about what is happening in the neighbourhood and its future. We have gathered a great deal of input and met many engaged individuals. In various working groups, concrete actions have been identified, and in some cases, residents have already started working together. The actions that can be implemented in the short term (1–3 years) will be included in the neighbourhood plan.
The solutions aimed at the longer term are outlined in the neighbourhood vision, which is now in draft form. The municipal executive has agreed to make the draft neighbourhood vision for ’t Zand-Stromenwijk-Rittenburg available for public inspection for six weeks, starting on Wednesday, 18 March and ending on Tuesday, 28 April 2026. Residents and other stakeholders can submit their views. Depending on the feedback, the vision will be adjusted accordingly.
In July 2026, we will ask the municipal council to adopt the final neighbourhood vision. The vision sets out the course for the coming years, covering areas such as care and wellbeing, community life, safety, amenities, and housing.
