Lange Noordstraat closed next week
From Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27, the Lange Noordstraat will be temporarily closed due to KPN’s installation of fibre-optic cables. The work will take place daily between 7:00 and 16:00.
During working hours, the street will be inaccessible to motorised traffic. (Moped) cyclists will still be permitted to pass through. Outside working hours, the Lange Noordstraat will remain open to all traffic as usual.
During this period, parking will be prohibited throughout the street, from Hofplein to Bachtensteene.
Motorised traffic should follow the designated diversion route via: Noordpoortstraat – Klein Vlaanderen – Volderijlaagte – Stadhuisstraat.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience and will do everything possible to ensure the work proceeds as smoothly as possible.
