Easy to reach your final destination with shared bikes
Since last year, residents have been able to use shared bikes from Donkey Republic. In the coming period, new locations for the shared bikes will be added in the municipality.
Collaboration with Qbuzz and Donkey Republic
The shared bikes are part of a trial in the Holland Rijnland region. Qbuzz has commissioned Donkey Republic to organize shared bikes in the region. That is why shared bikes are placed at many bus stops. With these bikes, travelers can easily cycle to their destination after their bus ride.
More locations
Currently, shared bikes are available at four locations. These are the spots on Parallel Boulevard and Van Panhuysstraat in Noordwijk and the Victoriberg in Noordwijkerhout. From spring onwards, you will also find shared bikes on Schoolstraat in Noordwijk and at De Brink and De Gieterij in Noordwijkerhout. These Donkey Republic bikes can be recognized by their orange color in the bike racks.
App
All information can be found in the Donkey Republic app. In this app, you can see, for example, where the shared bikes are located and where the hubs (collection points) are where you can return the bike.
Spring campaign Holland Rijnland
In the region, the Daily Rider subscription from Donkey Republic can be used free of charge for a limited time. This way, you can cycle for free for up to 2 hours every day. The campaign runs until April 7, 2026.
Bikes in high demand
