Preliminary results of the 2026 municipal council elections
Residents of Pijnacker-Nootdorp went to the polls on March 18, 2026, for the municipal council elections. The preliminary results show that Eerlijke Alternatief has become the largest party in our municipality, with 23.8% of the vote.
A total of 26,533 valid votes were cast in our municipality. 67 eligible voters cast blank votes, and 49 votes were declared invalid. The turnout was 59.26%.
The counting of the municipal council elections is ongoing. Mayor Björn Lugthart officially handed over the ballot papers to Harold van Vliet, chairman of the Municipal Electoral Board, at 10:00 AM. More than 100 volunteers are now counting the votes at candidate level in Sporthal De Viergang in Pijnacker. This counting process is open to the public, and you are welcome to attend.
