Preliminary results of the 2026 municipal council elections
On Wednesday, March 18, residents cast their votes in the 2026 Municipal Council Elections. How did the parties perform in these elections? Which party secured the most seats, and what is the new seat distribution? You can find the answers in these preliminary results.
The votes have been counted! With 5,434 votes cast, the turnout was 50.14%. Reusel-De Mierden was also the first municipality in Brabant where votes were counted at the party level. Thank you to everyone who voted!

- Samenwerking Reusel-De Mierden: 8 seats (2,891 votes, 53.2%)
- CDA Reusel-De Mierden: 3 seats (1,180 votes, 21.7%)
- D66 Reusel-De Mierden: 2 seats (618 votes, 11.4%)
- VVD Reusel-De Mierden: 2 seats (545 votes, 10.0%)
- Blank list: 0 seats (200 votes, 3.7%)
Additionally, 36 blank votes were cast, and 19 votes were invalid.
