Together we raised the fantastic amount of €18,423,566 for Spieren voor Spieren. As the host city, we are incredibly proud of this achievement. Together we made it happen!

Thank you very much for your visit, commitment, and enthusiasm. Thanks to you, we have made a difference together!

Setup and Teardown

The teardown starts immediately after the event on Wednesday, December 24. During the night hours, most of the technical facilities will be removed. Noise disturbance will be minimized as much as possible. No work will be done on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The remaining teardown work will take place on Saturday 27, Sunday 28, and Monday 29 December between 07:30 and 21:00. Afterwards, the square will be completely cleaned.

To ensure a safe situation, the Markt will be partially closed to traffic and pedestrians during the teardown. The event area will be secured throughout the entire period, including night hours and Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Accessibility

The movable poles that close the city center to car traffic are called the Selective Access System (STS). For the safety of the public in the city center, this system is closed in the afternoon and at night. From December 25, the regular rules of the STS area apply again, except for the Hinthamerstraat.

Market

On December 27 and 28, the market will still be in the Hinthamerstraat. From December 31, the market will be back at De Markt. Read the news article for more information about the market in the Hinthamerstraat.
