Mayor Harald Bergmann set a good example this morning by casting his vote first at Schiedam Centrum station. The polling station at the station opened as early as 6:00 AM. The other polling locations opened at 7:30 AM. By around 11:00 AM, 5,284 eligible voters from Schiedam had cast their ballots, and by 3:00 PM, the number had risen to 13,740.
