Construction work on the A2: night closures between Urmond, Born and St. Joost
Rijkswaterstaat will be carrying out construction work on the A2 between Het Vonderen and Kerensheide from Friday, March 20 to Wednesday, April 1. As a result, the motorway will be closed on several nights. Road users should allow for an extra travel time of approximately 10 minutes.
On some nights, the A2 will be closed in both directions, while on other nights only the direction towards Eindhoven or Maastricht will be closed.
During the nights of Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22, Rijkswaterstaat will be working on, among other things, the ’t Rooth viaduct (Steenakkerweg) and the Graetheide viaduct (Bergerweg). Due to these construction activities for the A2 widening project, the motorway will be closed at night between junction Born (exit 47) and Urmond (exit 48) in both directions.
