Travelling mini-exhibition on Steenwijkerland's Environmental Vision
On Thursday, March 26, residents can attend a mini-exhibition between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM to receive an explanation of the Environmental Vision adopted by the municipal council. At Steenwijk Town Hall on Vendelweg, panels will display how the future of Steenwijkerland is envisioned. Municipal staff will be present to answer questions and provide information.
Where can new homes be built? And where is space for businesses? What developments are possible in agricultural areas? In short, what does the future look like for Steenwijkerland's cities, villages, centres, and neighbourhoods? The answers to these and other questions are outlined in the Environmental Vision, which was adopted by the municipal council in January of this year. A summary of the Environmental Vision has been created and displayed on panels for each sub-area.
Travelling mini-exhibition
The panels will be part of a travelling mini-exhibition and will be on display at various locations in the municipality over the coming period. While they can be read independently, an oral explanation will be available at the launch on March 26. The panels can then be viewed at the town hall until April 16. Locations for the travelling mini-exhibition will be announced soon via social media, the municipal page in the house-to-house newspaper, and on www.steenwijkerland.nl/omgevingsvisie.
