Polling stations open: voting possible today until 9:00 PM
You can cast your vote at all polling stations in Waddinxveen for the municipal council elections. Please bring your polling card and a valid ID!
Unable to vote in person?
If you are unable to vote yourself, you can authorise someone else living in Waddinxveen to vote on your behalf. Fill in the back of your polling card and sign it together with the authorised person. The person you authorise must bring your polling card and a copy of your valid ID to the polling station.
Vote counting is public
On Wednesday evening, March 18, vote counting at the party level will begin at 9:00 PM. This will take place at all polling stations. On Thursday, March 19, the votes will be counted centrally at the candidate level by the Municipal Electoral Office (GSB). This will start at 9:00 AM in a hall at the municipal yard, Coenecoop 53. The total number of votes cast will also be announced that day, along with the distribution of votes among parties and candidates. The Central Electoral Office (CSB) meets on Thursday, March 26, 2026
This will take place at 10:00 AM in the town hall. The CSB will then establish the final results of the municipal council elections. This meeting is open to the public. The CSB will draft minutes of the meeting. You can request a copy of these minutes. This will be available from March 27 during office hours at the town hall.
