The working visit starts on Monday, May 26. Mr. Szabó visits the IND office and the police station. He speaks with employees of the Caribbean Netherlands Police Corps and the Regional Information and Expertise Center (RIEC) about combating undermining crime. The secretary of state discusses the results of various trade missions and conferences with the special envoy for EU funds. Subsequently, the secretary of state talks with representatives of the residents organization Pro Lagun about the situation at Selibon. Under the focal point of economic self-sufficiency, the focus is also on food security through local food production. Therefore, Mr. Szabó visits the Punta Blanku chicken farm in the afternoon. The day begins with a visit to the Selibon landfill, in the presence of the acting national representative and the executive council. Subsequently, he visits the MBO Bonaire, this visit focuses on the technical courses offered there.
In the afternoon, Mr. Szabó has consecutive meetings with representatives of Curoil and the Tourism Corporation Bonaire, and then he goes by boat to Klein Bonaire under the guidance of STINAPA, the foundation responsible for managing the national parks in Bonaire. He concludes the day with a conversation with the chairperson of the climate table.

In the morning, Secretary of State Szabó starts with a visit to the white slave houses under the guidance of FuHiKuBo. This foundation is engaged in the cultural-historical history of Bonaire.
