How well prepared are you for a crisis? Take part in the online survey
Imagine the power goes out. Not just in Aalsmeer and Kudelstaart, but across the entire Netherlands. And it lasts for several days. No lights, no internet, no working ATMs. What does that mean for you? Do you know what you can do? And are you prepared for it?
The world around us is changing. We are increasingly facing emergency situations, such as extreme weather, a cyberattack, or a prolonged power outage. That’s why it’s important that we prepare. This applies to you as a resident and to us as the government.
How the municipality is preparing
Municipality of Aalsmeer is working with the Amsterdam-Amstelland Safety Region to develop emergency plans. We regularly practice together and investigate where residents can turn for information and assistance if necessary. We also help residents prepare, including with information and practical tips. To do this effectively, we want to know how residents are preparing.
Help out: complete the survey
That’s why the Safety Region has created an online survey. It takes about ten minutes to complete. Your answers will help the Safety Region and municipalities gain insight into what residents need. This way, they can provide targeted information and support.
The questionnaire is anonymous. Anyone aged 18 or older who lives in the municipality of Aalsmeer can participate. Will you join in? Go to the Online survey (external link).
