Sustainability support for VvE’s launched
The Municipality of Baarn is supporting Homeowners’ Associations (VvE’s) in making their buildings more sustainable with a new VvE offer. Sustainability within a VvE is often complex: decisions are made collectively, there are many rules, and costs and options vary per building. With this offer, the municipality helps VvE’s step by step with advice, guidance, and subsidies.
Letter to VvE’s
Residents who fall within the target group will receive a letter from the municipality. This letter contains all the information about the VvE offer and what participation could mean for their building. The offer is designed to help homeowners within the VvE gain insight into the possibilities and to discuss sustainability with fellow residents.
Information session
On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the municipality will host an information session for interested VvE owners. During this session, participants will receive an explanation of the VvE offer, the sustainability process, and the available support. Registration for the session can be done via the registration form. We ask that no more than two people per VvE attend.
Guidance from start to finish
The VvE offer consists of an intake and orientation scan, a course for residents, and tailored guidance throughout the entire process. VvE’s can also receive a subsidy for energy-saving measures. The offer provides clarity, clear decision points, and support in planning for VvE’s. The municipality is collaborating with DVvE on this offer, which guides the sustainability efforts of VvE’s.
VvE Energy Point
The VvE Energy Point is the information and advice centre for VvE owners in the province of Utrecht who want to make their buildings more sustainable. On the website, VvE owners can find information about sustainability, the VvE offer, and receive advice via the helpdesk.
More information about the VvE offer can be found at www.energiepunt.nl/vve.
The VvE offer and the VvE Energy Point have been made possible by the Energy Services Centre (EDC). This is where the province of Utrecht and the municipalities of Utrecht, including the Municipality of Baarn, collaborate.
