On Wednesday evening, April 8, you are cordially invited to a new edition of the culture café, which, in light of International Women's Day (March 8), will be entirely dedicated to the theme of feminism. To address this topic in a pleasant, active, lighthearted, and sometimes more serious manner, we have invited ‘Aangenaam’.
Aangenaam is the intersectional feminist platform of Limburg. They are committed to creating an equal province. They believe it is important that everyone is seen and heard, and they engage in discussions about difficult topics in a pleasant way. For example, they recently highlighted the inequality in traditional Carnival festivities by posting a job vacancy where anyone could apply to be Prince Carnival. In this way, they serve feminism with a Limburg twist!
