Municipality of Bladel helps HOAs with greening: sign up for the free course!

Do you live in a Homeowners Association (HOA) and are considering greening your property? Then you know it can be quite complicated. What is wise to do? What does it cost? And how do you get all residents on board? The municipalities of Bladel and Bergeijk are helping HOA residents and board members get started with a free three-day course on greening.

Why participate?

Greening offers many benefits. A well-insulated apartment complex stays warm in winter and cool in summer. This not only improves living comfort but also reduces energy bills and maintains the building's value. However, greening within an HOA can be complex. This course will help you gain control over a process that normally takes a lot of time and research.

After completing the course:

• you will know what is and isn’t possible within your HOA
• you will have insight into costs, returns, and subsidies
• you will be able to make better and faster decisions with fellow owners

Practical information

The course consists of three sessions. Each session focuses on a specific topic:

• Tuesday, March 31 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Legal aspects Gain insight into what is and isn’t possible within your HOA according to the rules. You’ll also learn how to engage other residents and build support. Location: Theater de Kattendans, Bergeijk
• Wednesday, April 8 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Technical aspects Discover which greening measures are technically feasible for your building, such as insulation or installations. Location: Energiehuis Slimwonen, Helmond
• Thursday, April 16 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Energy and process aspects Learn how the greening process works, identify opportunities for your complex, and get information about subsidies and financing. Location: Community Center BRUIS, Bladel
