The preliminary results at the party level for the municipal council elections in the municipality of Buren have been announced. Of the 22,573 eligible voters in our municipality, 13,267 cast a vote. This represents a turnout of 58.8%.
Largest party
The largest party in the municipality of Buren is Gemeentebelangen with 32.4% of the votes. This is followed by PCG (13.9%), VVD (13.5%), BBB (10.4%), D66 (10.3%), PvdA-GroenLinks (9.3%), CDA (6.3%) and Partij voor de Dieren (3.8%).
