The preliminary results of the municipal council election in Capelle aan den IJssel have been announced. Leefbaar Capelle is the largest party with 9,595 votes out of a total of 24,476 valid votes. Voter turnout was 45.2%. This was announced by the municipal polling station in the council chamber of the town hall.
