Construction News: Bouwhuys Location, Witte Dorp and Oranjetuin

As you may have noticed, there is a lot happening in Dordrecht in terms of construction. That’s why we’re happy to share the latest updates in our construction news. This time, we have three updates on projects in Wielwijk and Nieuw-Krispijn.
1. Bouwhuys Location – Wielwijk
The Bouwhuys location will feature approximately 215 new homes: social rental homes, family homes (for sale), and apartments for sale. Van Wijnen has been selected as the developer and is responsible for further planning, sales, and construction. The cooperation agreement was signed this week. The neighborhood will be quiet, green, and low-traffic, with a beautiful connection to the Tromptuinen and Wielwijk Park. Construction is set to begin in 2027.
2. Witte Dorp – Nieuw-Krispijn
In Witte Dorp, the last homes have been completed by Woonbron. The project consists of 143 new-build homes, including 129 social rental homes and 14 homes for sale. The new residents have already received their keys and will be moving into their new homes in the coming period. A great new phase for the neighborhood!
3. Oranjetuin – Wielwijk
In Oranjetuin as well, all homes have been completed. In fact, the homes were delivered within just 8 months! This project includes 14 single-family homes (for sale). The new residents have received their keys and have started moving in and settling down. ABB Bouwgroep developed and built this green, small-scale residential area as the final piece of the redevelopment of Piet Heynstraat.
