Youth Ribbons for children and young people from Ede
Mayor René Verhulst was once again able to present youth ribbons this year to children and young people from the municipality of Ede.
The youth ribbon *De Pluim* is an award for children and young people who selflessly contribute to society or achieve an outstanding performance. *Pluimen* (Plumes) are also awarded to children or teams who have become national or international champions in the fields of sports or culture.
The Plumes were awarded to:
- Aron van Ginkel became Dutch Champion in gymnastics all-around and also secured first place in the individual events of rings and vault.
- Team DOK became Dutch Champions in Group Jumping on 6 December in the Pegasus and Trampoline categories.
- Mart Leroy became Dutch Champion in inline skating and won multiple European Cup competitions. Mart skates with team NL and is also an enthusiastic speed skater. Additionally, he is part of the KNSB Talent Team.
- in Rijssen became Dutch Champion in inline skating in the Junior B category. He also secured first place in the Junior B Dutch Marathon Championships and achieved his first international victory at the European Cup in Heerde.
- Team Troublemakes are European Champions in Dance Stars. The team (ages 9 to 12) qualified for the European Championship after securing first place at the Dutch Championships.
