Work on Liander's Houtweg in Oene
Starting Monday, 23 March, Liander will carry out work on Houtweg in Oene. They will lay new cables and pipelines for an electricity substation. To do this, they will break open part of the road and dig into the ground.
Planning and accessibility
The work will begin on Monday, 23 March, and will last at least until Friday, 27 March. During this period, Houtweg will be closed to cars and other motorised traffic. Cyclists and pedestrians will still be able to pass by the work site. A temporary footbridge will be installed to allow them to do so safely.
After 27 March, we will assess whether traffic lights can be installed at the work site. If so, traffic will be able to pass through alternately. If this is not possible, the road will remain closed for longer. The work is expected to take about three weeks in total. There will be a diversion for cars and other traffic, which will be clearly signposted along the route.
