Municipality publishes draft Heat Plan
Hof van Twente aims to be natural gas-free by 2050. This means that by then, we will no longer use natural gas for heating buildings and water. Instead, we will use other, sustainable sources. A draft Heat Plan has now been published, outlining this transition.
Draft Heat Plan 2026-2035
The municipal executive (B&W) has published the draft Heat Plan 2026-2035 for Hof van Twente for public consultation. The plan outlines which alternative heating methods are suitable for which neighbourhoods, hamlets, and villages in our municipality. This could include insulation and individual heat pumps, or a collective solution such as a district heating network. View the draft Heat Plan (external link).
Will you attend the information evening on April 8 or 9?
We would be happy to explain what the Heat Plan entails and what it means for you. We also welcome your feedback on the draft Heat Plan. You are therefore very welcome to attend one of the information evenings:
- Wednesday, April 8 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the town hall in Goor
- Thursday, April 9 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at eetcafé De Burgemeester in Delden
If you are unable to attend an information evening but would still like to provide feedback on the draft Heat Plan, you can do so until April 17, 2026, via the online form.
Public inspection
Based on your feedback, the draft Heat Plan may be adjusted. The municipal executive will then adopt the proposed Heat Plan. After this, it will be formally made available for public inspection. You will then also have the opportunity to submit any objections. We will of course inform you about this via our website and Hofnieuws.
