Municipal Elections 2026: Cast Your Vote!
On Wednesday, 18 March, you may cast your vote in the municipal elections. Your vote determines which parties and individuals will join the municipal council. The council decides on important local issues, such as housing, traffic, and amenities. Your vote is therefore crucial!
Changed Polling Locations
You can cast your vote between 7:30 AM and 9:00 PM. This year, several polling locations have changed. In the previous elections, you could vote at Kindcentrum Plataan, the former town hall on Deken Frankenstraat, and the Leefplein of Joris Zorg. These locations will no longer be available. Instead, you can vote at the new town hall on Sint Jorisstraat, the Boterkerkje, and the chapel of Joris Zorg (entrance via Gasthuisstraat). Below are all the polling locations:
