So far, 3,231 people have cast their votes. This represents 10.8% of all eligible voters. We are eager to see how many more votes will be cast today!

7:30 AM (Wednesday, March 18, 2026) Election Day
The polling stations are now open! From now until 21:00, you can cast your vote at one of the 22 polling stations in our municipality. A total of 254 polling station staff are on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We visited the polling station at the Reggesteyn secondary school in Rijssen this morning. This young man was an early voter. “I love that you can vote as early as 7:30 AM. That way, I can cast my ballot before work. It’s still quiet now, so I could go straight in.”

5:00 PM (Tuesday, March 17, 2026): Setup
The polling stations are ready! Over the past two days, our field service colleagues have been busy setting up all the polling stations with voting booths and ballot boxes. They also ensured that temporary disabled parking spaces are available near some polling stations, so that every polling station has a disabled parking space close to the entrance.
There are a total of 22 polling stations in our municipality. Accessibility has been taken into account for people with disabilities. All polling stations are wheelchair-accessible, and there are walkers and mobility scooters available. Additionally, a candidate list with large print is displayed, magnifying glasses are provided, and voters can use on-site video calling with a sign language interpreter.
