Vote for the most beautiful winter photo of Simpelveld!
In the past period, we received an overwhelming number of responses to our call to capture the most beautiful spots in Simpelveld during winter. Once again, we were amazed by the enthusiastic submissions: we received no fewer than 129 photos!
Our jury, which includes a councillor and a professional photographer, has selected 6 photos from all the submissions. We took the following criteria into account:
- Does the photo evoke a wintery feeling?
- Can our municipality be recognised in the photo?
- Is the image in the photo striking?
- Is the quality of the photo sufficient?
Now it’s the turn of our residents. You get to decide which photo is the most beautiful. Which photo will be the seasonal winner of winter?
On the voting form, you can view and enlarge the 6 selected photos and easily cast your vote online. This can be done between Monday, March 23, and Monday, May 4, 2026.
Unable to vote online? Then please contact us by phone at 045 5448383 or visit us at the town hall. Between March 30 and May 4, the 6 selected photos will be on display in the lobby of our town hall. You are always welcome to admire the photos in person!

Once the most beautiful winter photo has been chosen, the winners of the 4 seasons will be known. As a resident, you will then get to choose the winner of “The most beautiful photo of Simpelveld” from the seasonal winners. This photo will feature on the cover of our municipal guide in 2027.
