When the ballot boxes close at 9:00 PM on Wednesday, 18 March, the tension will rise for the participating parties and candidates. How was the voting? And what will the new municipal council look like for the next four years? Together with the parties and other interested parties, we will be live viewing the results of the municipal elections per polling station. It is sure to be an exciting and interesting evening.
What: Municipal Election Results Evening 2026 When: 18 March, from 9:00 PM Where: Steenbergen Town Hall
At 9:00 PM, the ballot boxes will close. After that, a large number of volunteers will count all the votes, per polling station. The results will then come in that evening per polling station and will be announced by our mayor, Ruud van den Belt, to those interested in the hall of the town hall.
The presentation of the results evening will be in the hands of Tim Frenken and Meis Linders. Between the results, they will mainly engage in conversation with the lead candidates of the eleven participating parties, for their initial reactions to the municipal election results.
The results evening is open to everyone.
