Steenwijkerland to support entrepreneurs in implementing sustainable measures
Entrepreneurs in Steenwijkerland will soon receive an invitation to complete a questionnaire on sustainability. With this questionnaire, the municipality aims to gain insight into what entrepreneurs are already doing in this area, the challenges they face, and what they consider important. ‘When you consider that the Dutch economy must be fully based on reusable raw materials and energy from natural sources by 2050, there is a significant task ahead. As a municipality, we want to explore how we can best guide and support entrepreneurs in this effort. We aim to align our approach with the questions and needs that exist,’ explains alderwoman Miriam Slomp-Dekkers.
All entrepreneurs in Steenwijkerland are invited to complete the questionnaire. They will receive a letter with an invitation containing a link to the questionnaire. The research is a collaboration between the municipality, the Business Club Steenwijkerland, and Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, which will conduct the study. ‘Based on the results, we will explore how we can work together—by ‘together,’ I mean the municipality and entrepreneurs. At the same time, it would be great if we could also connect with, for example, the province and Regio Zwolle. We intend to focus on that.’
