Establishment of final results
The results of the municipal council elections are not yet final. The results (at both the list and candidate level) will be officially established on Thursday, March 26, at 10:00 AM, during a public session of the central polling station. During this session, the seats will also be allocated. The distribution of the 33 seats on the Stichtse Vecht municipal council is determined by dividing the total number of valid votes by the number of council seats, which yields the electoral quota. Parties receive 'full' seats based on how many times they meet the quota. Remaining seats ('remainder seats') are allocated using the largest averages method.
This session will take place in the council chamber, Markt 12 in Breukelen. Interested parties are welcome to attend the public session in person. The session can also be followed online via the Council Information System (links to an external website).
The final results will also be available on www.stichtsevecht.nl/verkiezingen.
