Removal of trailer/folding trailer on Van Duivenvoordelaan
Application of administrative enforcement to remove a vehicle, a single-axle trailer/folding trailer without a license plate parked on the public road “Van Duivenvoordelaan” opposite the parking area near the blue apartment building in Wassenaar.
The Mayor and Aldermen of the Municipality of Wassenaar announce that a trailer/folding trailer has been parked on the public road on Van Duivenvoordelaan in Wassenaar for a long period. This is in violation of Article 5:6, paragraph 2 of the General Local Byelaw of Wassenaar 2024. Since the owner of this vehicle cannot be traced in the register of the Dutch Road Authority, Article 36, paragraph 5 of the Dutch Traffic Regulations 1994, the trailer is to be classified as “neglected”.
In light of the above-mentioned article, we call upon the owner or holder of the vehicle to remove his/her property from the public road in Wassenaar within seven days of the publication of this notice. If the vehicle is not removed within the stipulated period, we will, pursuant to Article 125 of the Dutch Municipalities Act in conjunction with Article 5:21 et seq. of the Dutch General Administrative Law Act, proceed to apply administrative enforcement. This means that the municipality will have the vehicle removed. Any costs arising from the application of administrative enforcement may be recovered from the owner.
