Winners of the 31st Westerwold Writing Competition!
The annual Westerwold Writing Competition for Groningen stories and poems was held for the 31st time this year. A total of 19 stories and 19 poems were submitted.
On Friday, March 20, the prize-giving ceremony took place at the community center d’Oale School in Ter Apelkanaal. Alderman Giny Luth announced the winners during the event. The musical entertainment was provided by the choir Toen en Nu from Ter Apel. This year, there were 27 participants, all hailing from across the province of Groningen.
