Farewell to the municipal council for the 2022-2026 council period
The municipal council of Ameland met for the final time on Tuesday evening, 31 March, for the 2022-2026 council period. In the new council, which will be installed on Wednesday, 1 April, six councillors will not return.
Mayor Tytsy Willemsma, as chair of the municipal council, addressed each councillor personally and bid farewell to the current composition of the council.
